DESCRIPTION

• Elevate™ QuickPrime Plus is designed to:

  • Clean and prime Elevate EPDM membranes and compatible substrates

  • Prepare surfaces to receive:

    • QuickSeam® products

    • SA membrane

    • Pourable Sealer

    • Lap Sealant

• Activates membrane surface for:

  • Proper bonding

  • Seam quality

• Must be applied with a QuickScrubber™ tool

APPLICATION

• QuickPrime Plus can be used in the following Elevate systems:

  • RubberGard™ EPDM

  • RubberCover™ EPDM

  • GeoGard™ EPDM

  • PondGard™ EPDM

  • GeoSmart™ EPDM

  • RubberGutter™ EPDM

  • Giscolene™ EPDM

PREPARATION

• Surfaces must be:

  • Clean, smooth, and dry

  • Free of:

    • Sharp edges

    • Loose materials

    • Oil, grease, and other contaminants

• Pre-cleaning with Splice Wash or Cleaner C-20 may be required

• Clean mating surfaces of EPDM membrane with a brush or clean rag

• Stir primer before and during use:

  • Ensure uniform mix

  • No sediments or marbling

• If stored below 15°C, allow primer to return to room temperature before use

METHOD OF APPLICATION

• Apply QuickPrime Plus with QuickScrubber pad and handle

• Use:

  • Long back-and-forth strokes

  • Moderate to heavy pressure

  • Along the length of the application area

• Continue scrubbing until:

  • Surface turns dark grey

  • No streaking or puddling remains

• Allow surface to dry completely (typically less than 10 minutes) before applying QuickSeam product

• Always refer to Elevate technical guidelines for specific installation instructions

COVERAGE

• Approximate coverage using a QuickScrubber pad:

  • 18 to 23 m² per gallon (one-side application)
